Our story begins way back in late 2016 when the founder decided to start a simple trucking company with one enclosed trailer, and a 2003 Dodge Dually pickup. That company was and still is Midwest Exotic Transport You can see that setup in the photo to the right. Wes drove over 500,000 miles hauling cars to and from every corner of the United States. His travels and experiences led him to realize the extreme need for a better consumer experience. Then, the YouTube channel Auto Transport For Dummies was born.
From that point, it became clear that the customer was being continually let down in terms of efficiency, customer service, communication, and transparency. The same story was being heard on a daily, almost hourly basis. Empty promises, and under delivering were clearly the norm. Prices were never met, and guarantees were often broken. A change was clearly needed.
So in 2020 , the Midwest Exotic Group launched airRyd, a revolutionary platform built by real auto transporters who have an in depth knowledge of the current ways of the industry, but more importantly on the ways in which it should operate. Customer service, transparency and experience are where we are miles ahead of the competition.
